Responsibilities

Network Operations

• You will assist in configuring, monitoring and maintaining routers, switches and firewalls under engineering supervision.
• You will monitor device health and collect performance metrics to support troubleshooting and capacity planning.

Testing & Implementation

• Support network testing and implementation tasks by following test plans and executing step-by-step procedures.
• Perform post-change validation to confirm connectivity and report any deviations to senior engineers.

Documentation & Support

• Maintain clear network documentation and diagrams so deployments are repeatable and easy to hand over.
• Handle basic networking IT support requests and escalate complex faults to the engineering team promptly.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• You are currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• You are able to commit to the internship for a minimum period of 3-6 months.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN and DNS.
• Familiarity with routers, switches and firewalls, or a strong willingness to learn hands-on device configuration.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Eagerness to learn, clear communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team.
• Attention to detail, patience during troubleshooting, and the readiness to follow procedures and ask questions.
