JOB LOCATION/工作地点：Kempas (JB)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all traffic management activities at the construction site.
• Ensure proper implementation of the approved Traffic Management Plan (TMP).
• Coordinate traffic diversion, road closure, lane closure, signage, barriers, cones, lighting and other traffic control measures.
• Monitor traffic flow and ensure safe movement of vehicles, workers and pedestrians around the work zone.
• Conduct regular inspections of traffic management arrangements and rectify unsafe conditions immediately.
• Coordinate with the Site Team, subcontractors, authorities and relevant stakeholders on traffic-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, approved drawings, method statements and applicable Malaysian regulations.
• Maintain records, inspection reports and documentation related to traffic management activities.
• Lead and supervise traffic marshals / flagmen and ensure adequate manpower is deployed.
• Report traffic incidents, hazards and non-compliance to the relevant management team.
• Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings and site coordination meetings.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Traffic Management Supervisor (TMS) certification issued/recognized by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in traffic management, road works or construction projects.
• Familiar with Traffic Management Plans, temporary traffic control arrangements and road safety requirements.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian traffic management and construction safety requirements.
• Able to supervise traffic marshals and coordinate traffic control activities effectively.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and under site conditions.
• Willing to work on-site and according to project requirements.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.
