Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end management of construction projects, ensuring timely completion aligned with project goals
Develop detailed project plans, including budgeting and resource allocation, to optimize efficiency and minimize risks
Build and lead project teams by defining clear objectives and assigning responsibilities to achieve targeted outcomes
Manage project accounting by tracking expenses and controlling budget exposure to safeguard financial performance
Monitor construction progress regularly and conduct status meetings to address challenges and maintain alignment
Coordinate effectively with architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and laborers to ensure seamless collaboration
Conduct periodic site inspections to verify compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation to support transparency and accountability
Identify potential design and construction issues that could lead to disputes or claims and implement mitigation strategies
Serve as the primary liaison with clients, reviewing deliverables to ensure they meet expectations before submission
Required competencies and certifications
Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent recognized by BCA, PE Board
At least 5 years of relevant construction project management experience; experience with detached bungalow or dormitory projects is preferred
Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Project
Strong project management skills demonstrated by successful delivery of construction projects
Effective communication and technical writing skills to facilitate clear stakeholder engagement
Ability to perform under tight schedules in a fast-paced environment
