The Duty Manager is a full-time based in Singapore, with on-site leadership at TRIFECTA and some flexibility for administrative work. This role oversees day-to-day venue operations, including supervising front-of-house and activity areas, ensuring safety standards, and delivering a welcoming, efficient guest experience.

The Duty Manager coordinates staff scheduling, briefs team members before shifts, and supports training to maintain service quality and operational consistency. They handle guest inquiries and escalations, monitor facilities and equipment, and ensure that surf, snow, and skate activities run smoothly. The Duty Manager also supports events, liaises with internal departments, and provides regular operational reports to management to support continuous improvement.

Shift command

• Act as Manager on Duty: single point of operational command for the venue during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate across BU teams for cross-venue guest journeys, events and peak load.
• Direct staff across teams that do not report to you day-to-day; the shift authority line is explicit and backed by the GM.

Incident response

• Lead response to guest injuries, equipment faults, evacuations and escalations; make the immediate call, including stopping activity on safety grounds.
• Document every incident to standard the same day; follow up per the GX playbook.

Standards enforcement

• Enforce guest experience and safety standards across all teams on shift, including staff space-use rules (logged sessions only).
• Remove any staff member from the floor for conduct or safety breaches; report through SOP 7.

Operations administration

• Run opening and closing procedures; complete daily shift reports.
• Support scheduling administration: attendance confirmation against the roll call, shift handover notes.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong operations and supervisory skills, including experience managing daily venue or facility activities and coordinating staff schedules.

Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle guest feedback, resolve issues professionally, and build a positive on-site atmosphere.

Candidates should possess safety and risk management awareness, ensuring adherence to safety procedures, incident reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Candidates should possess organizational and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks, and responsiveness in fast-paced environments.

Candidates should possess basic administrative and digital skills, such as using scheduling tools, email, spreadsheets, and reporting templates.

Previous experience in hospitality, leisure, sports facilities, or event operations is beneficial.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by venue operations.

Interest or background in surf, snow, or skate activities, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and safe environment for participants, is an advantage.
