About the Role

We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to ensure the seamless delivery and quality of our clients’ IT products. In this role, you will be based at the client’s site (Tuas), closely collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and manage end-to-end testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements (software, hardware, firmware) to evaluate feasibility within time and cost constraints.
• Formulate test strategies, technical designs, and comprehensive test plans to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Design, write, and execute test cases across functional and non-functional testing.
• Identify, document, track, and manage bugs to resolution, ensuring timely submission of bug and progress reports.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on requirement clarification, scope estimation, and sizing.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Experience in Retail IT is highly advantageous.
• Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies, test case design, defect tracking, and bug reporting processes.
• Fluent in English. Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong plus to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders/teams.
