Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Executive to join our Freight & Logistics team. The role involves coordinating freight shipments and providing daily customer service support for import and export operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily customer service activities related to freight and logistics operations.
• Coordinate with customers, shipping lines, transporters, warehouse, port/terminal and internal departments.
• Monitor shipment and container status, vessel schedules, ETA/ETD and delivery arrangements.
• Coordinate import and export shipment arrangements according to customer requirements.
• Prepare, check and follow up on shipping and freight documentation, including Bill of Lading (B/L), Delivery Order (D/O) and other relevant documents.
• Coordinate with relevant parties regarding customs clearance and shipment requirements.
• Liaise with port/terminal and transport teams for container movement, delivery and collection.
• Monitor shipment cut-off times and ensure required arrangements are completed on time.
• Update job and shipment information accurately in the Asolute system.
• Provide timely shipment updates to customers.
• Handle customer enquiries and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve operational issues.
• Follow up on shipment delays, changes and other customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in freight, shipping or logistics customer service.
• Experience handling import/export freight operations is an advantage.
• Familiar with shipping documentation, vessel schedules, customs and port/terminal operations.
• Experience dealing with shipping lines, transporters, warehouse or port/terminal is an advantage.
• Experience using Asolute system or other freight/logistics systems is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an advantage.
• Computer literate and comfortable working with logistics systems.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work under pressure.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and internal departments.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
