Job Summary
We are seeking a data-driven and highly organized Resource Management Coordinator. In this role, you will be the central hub balancing project demands with talent supply. You will optimize consultant utilization, manage the bench, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast future staffing needs. This role requires a strong understanding of IT staffing models (including contract, placement, and permanent hiring) and the cross-cultural communication skills needed to work across diverse technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Resource Allocation & Matching: Assign the right technical consultants to client projects based on skills, availability, and budget requirements.
- Bench Management: Track and minimize unassigned "bench" time by proactively identifying upcoming project roll-offs and matching consultants to new opportunities.
- Workforce Planning & Forecasting: Analyze project pipelines and historical data to forecast future talent demands and skill gaps.
- Staffing Coordination: Partner with Talent Acquisition and procurement teams to coordinate contract hiring, staff augmentation, and placement hiring strategies.
- Utilization Tracking: Monitor and report on weekly utilization metrics, ensuring optimal billable hours across the engineering team.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to Practice Leads, Project Managers, and Account Directors to resolve resource conflicts smoothly.
Requirements & Qualifications
- IT Consulting Domain Expertise: Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating within an IT consulting or professional services framework.
- Staffing Process Literacy: Deep familiarity with diverse hiring models, including permanent placement, staff augmentation, and IT contract hiring.
- Resource Optimization: Hands-on experience managing a talent bench, tracking utilization, and executing complex resource allocations.
- Data-Driven Planning: Proven ability to handle basic strategic workforce planning, capacity forecasting, and spreadsheet-based talent tracking.
- Cross-Cultural Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across diverse global teams and technical cultures.
- Problem-Solving & Agility: Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills to balance competing project priorities.
