The Financial Accountant is a full-time hybrid role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur and/or Johor, with a mix of field work and work-from-home flexibility.

The Financial Accountant will produce timely financial statements and management reports, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and assist with audits and tax-related documentation. Day-to-day tasks include using accounting software to process transactions, monitoring internal controls, analyzing financial data for variances and trends, and/or collaborating with cross-functional teams to support client engagements.

The role also involves continuous improvement of accounting processes and adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

You will be given opportunity to lead engagement with Clients, provide recommendation, assist or lead implementation and watch your Clients adopt your recommendations!

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Finance and the preparation and interpretation of Financial Statements.
• Advanced Analytical Skills for reviewing financial data, identifying trends, and supporting decision-making.
• Hands-on experience with modern Accounting Software and systems used for transactional processing and recordkeeping.
• Proficiency in Financial Reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are an advantage.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements relevant to Malaysia and international clients.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity in handling financial information.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment with diverse teams and clients.
