What you'll be doing

• Identifying, prospecting and developing new business opportunities within the industrial supplies market

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty

• Presenting product features, benefits and pricing to prospective customers in a compelling and professional manner

• Preparing and delivering sales proposals and quotations tailored to client requirements

• Negotiating contracts and closing sales deals to achieve agreed targets and objectives

• Providing exceptional customer service and addressing client queries and concerns promptly

• Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and pipeline management using CRM systems

• Collaborating with internal teams including operations, logistics and customer service to ensure seamless order fulfilment

• Attending industry events, trade shows and networking functions to generate leads and enhance brand awareness

• Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities and threats

• Achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably within the industrial supplies, manufacturing or B2B sector

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse stakeholders

• Excellent negotiation and closing techniques with a results-driven mindset

• Self-motivated and ambitious with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric approach to addressing challenges

• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Sales or related field (or equivalent experience)
