Job Description

Responsibilities

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Financial Advisor based in Singapore, with the flexibility to work partly from home. As a comprehensive financial advisory firm, we provide clients with full-spectrum advisory and wealth solutions, bridging both holistic insurance distribution and tailored investment planning.

At IPP, you are fully supported by our dedicated in-house Investment Division. Our investment team conducts macroeconomic research, makes direct portfolio and asset allocation decisions, and assists with answering technical client queries. By taking the heavy lifting out of fund management and market monitoring, the team provides complete ease of business—freeing you up to focus on insurance protection planning, client acquisition, sales and scaling your practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to assess personal balance sheets, income replacement needs, risk profiles and cash-flow projections.
  • Provide comprehensive insurance planning across life, critical illness, personal accident, disability and corporate risk solutions.
  • Present bespoke wealth accumulation, retirement and estate planning strategies tailored to client milestones.
  • Leverage IPP’s dedicated investment desk for portfolio management support, market commentary and technical client query assistance.
  • Maintain lasting client relationships through regular policy servicing, portfolio reviews and claims support.
  • Expand your advisory business through personal networking, warm referrals and corporate partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents only.
  • Minimum academic requirement of Full GCE 'A' Levels, International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, Polytechnic Diploma or a recognised University Degree (MAS FAA requirements).
  • Relevant CMFAS papers (M5, M9, M9A, HI) are advantageous; candidates who sit and pass the required papers will have their examination fees reimbursed.
  • Holding or pursuing professional designations such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong interest in insurance advisory, risk protection, wealth management and retirement planning.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
