Job Description

We're looking for a Sr Product Designer (Enterprise Solution) to join us in shaking things up. This role isn't just about pushing pixels. You'll have the chance to take on industry giants and rethink how enterprise products can truly serve users in a space where design often takes a back seat. You'll help define how design shows up in our culture, shape scalable processes, and raise the bar for design maturity across the company.

This role puts density first. You will design complex web applications that carry a lot of information: credit risk dashboards, underwriting workflows, monitoring consoles, and analytics tools. The people who use them spend hours a day inside them, so the priority is knowing how to structure large volumes of data through tables, filters, hierarchies, and progressive disclosure, keeping it easy to scan, act on, and trust. We want someone who designs for expert users making decisions with real consequences, not someone who treats enterprise UI as a consumer app with more columns.

This is not a narrow design role where you'll often need to think like a product manager; find problems worth solving, question assumptions, and help the team move when direction is unclear. In many cases you will lead the product experience from start to finish, especially where ownership is fuzzy or still forming.

What You'll Do

You'll be involved early in the product development process, working closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to shape ideas from concept to execution. Design here is not an afterthought. It is the link between user needs, business goals, and technical implementation.

Your impact will go beyond UI and UX. You'll help shape a cohesive design language that touches everything from our product interfaces to how we communicate and engage with customers across channels. We are looking for someone who thinks holistically about systems, user experience, and visual storytelling. Someone who questions assumptions, pushes for clarity, and believes design is a tool for solving real problems.

You won't just follow a roadmap, you'll help define it. We value designers who can spot gaps, reframe problems, and advocate for a better path forward, even if it means challenging the status quo.

Key Roles

• Lead end to end UI and UX design for our enterprise products, from early wireframes to high fidelity prototypes
• Design with density fluency, knowing when to compress information, when to reveal it progressively, when to follow established enterprise conventions, and when to diverge with intent
• Own and evolve our enterprise design system, covering data tables, filter panels, forms, charts, and dashboard layouts, working at every level from atomic elements to blocks, patterns, and templates
• Maintain design and code parity for the design system, partnering directly with engineers to ensure components ship as designed. The source of truth doesn't have to live in Figma, but it must stay in sync
• Build and test rapid prototypes with realistic data at realistic scale, since a table designed with 5 rows will fail at 5,000, to validate ideas and quickly iterate based on feedback
• Conduct user research, customer interviews, and usability tests with analysts, credit officers, and operations teams to uncover insights and inform design decisions
• Define and track design metrics to measure product impact, from task completion time to error rates in critical workflows
• Document research findings, design decisions, and product enhancements clearly for cross functional teams
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to align on solutions
• Fill gaps in product thinking where needed, contribute to strategy, and drive product clarity through design
• Advocate for user value and long term thinking at every stage of product development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio of shipped enterprise, B2B, or data heavy work
• Deep understanding of information dense interface design, including data table patterns, complex forms, advanced filtering and search, bulk actions, keyboard first workflows, and state design at scale (loading, empty, error, and partial states across thousands of records)
• Strong grasp of information architecture and data visualization, with the ability to articulate how and why you'd choose one representation of data over another
• Proven experience building or maintaining a design system structured around atomic principles (atoms, molecules, blocks, templates)
• Experience managing design system parity between design files and shipped code, in close collaboration with engineering
• Proficient in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and iterative, data informed design
• Strong documentation habits using tools like Notion or Confluence
• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
• Clear communication skills and confidence in presenting and defending design decisions
• Experience working in a fast paced Agile or Scrum environment, particularly in fintech, SaaS, or enterprise software
• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices, especially in dense interfaces (WCAG compliance, full keyboard navigation, screen reader support, and legible contrast and type at high information density)

Bonus Points

• Strong sense of visual and interaction design craft
• Experience shipping enterprise platforms at scale, such as admin consoles, BI and analytics tools, risk or compliance systems, or internal operations tooling
• Working knowledge of data visualization libraries and their constraints (D3, ECharts, Highcharts, or similar), or experience designing a charting system
• Experience using motion deliberately in dense UIs: state transitions, loading choreography, and micro interactions that aid comprehension rather than decorate
• Experience using image generation tools like Midjourney to explore visual directions and support early stage design ideation
• Comfortable leveraging AI writing assistants such as GPT, Claude, or Perplexity to define research goals, frame problems, draft PRDs, and articulate product strategies
• Familiar with AI powered tools like Figma Make, Google Stitch, Cursor, Lovable, or Bolt to accelerate prototyping, streamline development handoff, and experiment quickly
• Systems thinker with experience extending design beyond UI to influence brand, storytelling, and customer experience

Expect something messy and data heavy, because that's what our work looks like. We're less interested in polished pixels and more interested in how you think, how you scope, how you make tradeoffs under time pressure, and how fluently you move between design and code.

You'll walk us through your process, your decisions, and what you'd do differently with more time. Expect a conversation, not an interrogation.
