Job Summary
Provide professional front desk and communication support, manage administrative and clerical tasks, assist with student care, and maintain a clean and organised reception area in a school environment.
Responsibilities
Manage the reception counter and operate the intercom system to facilitate smooth communication.
Handle incoming phone calls, emails, mail, and faxes promptly and professionally to support school operations.
Record deliveries and messages accurately to ensure proper coordination and follow-up.
Perform data entry, collate information, type documents, file records, scan, laminate, and archive materials efficiently.
Attend to unwell or injured students by providing immediate care and support.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area to create a welcoming environment.
Carry out additional duties assigned by the school to support daily operations.
Adapt work schedule flexibly to start at either 6:45 AM or 9:30 AM as required.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Demonstrate proactive teamwork and strong communication skills to engage effectively with staff, students, and visitors.
Use Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiently to complete administrative tasks.
Possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant reception and administrative experience within a school setting.
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 6:45 AM to 3:45 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch break).
Friday: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch break).
Off Days: Weekends and gazetted public holidays.
Note: Flexibility to start at either 6:45 AM or 9:30 AM is required; final timings and lunch durations will be confirmed.
