Job Description
Group Consolidation
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and report to HQ in Korea.
Prepare quarterly consolidated reporting package.
Review overseas subsidiaries accounts.
Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances, ensure elimination entries are accurately recorded.
Support external audit and internal audit requirements relating to consolidated accounts.
Financial Planning and Analysis
Assist in preparation of monthly forecasts and long-range financial plans.
Analyse monthly financial performance and identify key variances and trends.
Reporting & Process Improvement
Assist in process improvement, system enhancements, and finance-related projects to increase operational efficiency.
Assist in the group policy and process improvements.
Support statutory reporting and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Perform ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by management to support business needs.
Job Requirements
Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
Candidates currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification will also be considered.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in consolidation, group reporting and FP&A.
Experience in shipyard/construction industry preferred.
Strong financial analysis and financial modelling skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tight deadlines.
Hanwha Offshore Singapore is a global multi-disciplinary contractor specialising in the engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and onshore pre-commissioning & commissioning of offshore topside modules and facilities for FPSOs (floating production storage and offloading vessels), FSOs (floating storage and offloading vessels), FLNGs (floating liquefied natural gas vessels), and FSRUs (floating storage and regasification units). Tapping on our expertise in offshore topside modules fabrication, we are also able to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions for onshore module fabrication for land-based plants for the hydrocarbons industry and piping solutions, with a focus on LNG, green and blue hydrogen and ammonia, and exotic piping construction in carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects.
