Company Description

Astro Health Ventures is a Singapore healthcare company re-shaping how traditional medical services are delivered. We build and run specialised digital clinics, pairing licensed doctors with technology we build ourselves, so services that once meant a clinic visit reach people directly. Our first venture, Trimly (trimly.sg), is an MOH-licensed clinic providing medically supervised weight management in Singapore, with an in-house pharmacy that delivers to patients' doors. We are founder-led with seven-figure monthly revenue; a physical clinic is on the way and more brands are planned. Platform, clinical operations and brands are all built in-house, and we hire people who want ownership early.

Role Description

The Operations Associate (Office of the COO) is a full-time, Singapore-based hybrid role: on-site at our pharmacy and office most days, with flexibility to work from home when the work allows. Today our COO personally runs pharmacy fulfilment, inventory, facilities and the clinic expansion. You will take that engine over, run it, systemise it, and grow into leading operations across every brand we launch.

This is not a remote position. We will be prioritising applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore and do not require visa sponsorship.

From day one you own four areas:

1. Pharmacy fulfilment: roster and lead our packers, own the SOPs, resolve delivery escalations. The last mile of the patient experience.
2. Inventory and supply: forecast demand, place orders, manage supplier invoices. Medication is one of our largest cost lines, so forecasting well moves margin and cash.
3. Office and facilities: landlord, utilities, security, repairs, procurement.
4. Clinic expansion: site viewings, procurement, fit-out, hiring and onboarding for our first physical clinic.

Some of this is admin. The difference is what you do with it: every process above is yours to measure, redesign, streamline and hand to a team you build.

Within 6 to 18 months you lead clinic-launch workstreams, replace manual processes with systems, make your first hires and take on a new brand's operations. From there the path is Operations Lead, then Head of Operations, with scope that grows as fast as you can carry it and compensation reviewed with scope, not on a calendar. You report to the COO and work with both co-founders daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
• 0 to 3 years of experience. No operations role required: show us something you have built or run, such as a side project, a club with money and people, a startup internship or a case competition.
• Enterprising by default: you start things unasked, run several workstreams in parallel and chase your own loose ends.
• Good with people and exacting on detail. You will lead a packing team from week one; in a pharmacy, close enough is not good enough.
• Comfortable with numbers, spreadsheets and operational data; able to forecast, track and report without being asked.
• Comfortable with AI tools and quick to build them into how you work.
• Clear written and verbal communication with suppliers, landlords, clinicians and the founders.
• Based in Singapore and able to work on-site most days. We are prioritising applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore and do not require visa sponsorship.

What We Offer

• S$3,800 to S$5,000 a month depending on experience, plus 13th month bonus and up to 3 months of variable bonus.
