Senior Structural Engineer

Location: Klang Valley

The Company:

An award-winning engineering consultancy firm partnering with local and international clients to deliver innovative solutions across residential, mixed-use, commercial, retail, industrial, healthcare, and institutional developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyse reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, and steel structures
• Deliver foundation design solutions for various developments
• Lead the design, analysis, and delivery of concept and detailed designs for concrete and steel structures for residential, commercial, mixed-use, and high-rise developments.
• Perform structural analysis and design using software ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Review and prepare design calculations, technical drawings, specifications, tender documents, bills of quantities (BQ), and tender evaluation reports.
• Manage and coordinate projects throughout the design and construction phases, providing technical solutions and resolving engineering challenges.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, M&E consultants, and quantity surveyors
• Ensure projects comply with Malaysian codes, standards, and quality requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a consulting engineering firms
• Past experience in structural analysis, design, and detailing of reinforced concrete and/or steel structures.
• Proficient in structural engineering software, including ETABS, RAM CONCEPT and STAAD.Pro
• Familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM) workflows and software such as Revit and/or Navisworks is advantageous
• Good communications skills
