Roles & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide laboratory prep and administrative support to the Mathematics and Science departments. Key duties include:
Lesson Preparation: Prepare and lay out Science laboratory apparatus and Mathematics manipulatives before lessons.
Resource Reset: Clean, pack, and safely store all teaching apparatus, tools, and manipulatives back into designated cupboards after classes.
Inventory Management: Assist HODs with yearly stocktaking, update digital stock lists, and coordinate the annual collection/return of teacher deskcopies.
Resource Creation: Partner with teachers to fabricate simple learning materials, teaching aids, and customized manipulatives.
Media & Digital Support: Take photos and film simple instructional videos for Math/Science programmes to be used as learning resources.
Maintenance: Perform simple, non-technical repairs on classroom equipment and storage resource materials.
General Operations: Assist with student recess activities and provide ad-hoc administrative support as deployed by school management.
Job Requirements
Experience: Prior experience working within a school environment—specifically providing Science lab or Math department support—is highly preferred.
Language Proficiency: Strong command of the English language across listening, understanding, speaking, reading, and writing.
Technical Skills: Confident in using basic Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Soft Skills: Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently to achieve goals with minimal supervision.
Working Hours & Schedule
Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)
Fridays: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break)
Off Days: Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted Public Holidays
