About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Project Administrator to support our project management, construction and door manufacturing operations.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and coordination support throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure projects progress smoothly and documentation is properly maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support for construction and door manufacturing projects.
- Coordinate project schedules, documentation and administrative records.
- Prepare, organise and maintain project documents, reports, quotations and correspondence.
- Assist Project Managers and Engineers with project coordination and follow-up.
- Monitor project progress and update project schedules and tracking records.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, contractors and internal departments.
- Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, material requirements and project-related documentation.
- Assist in preparing quotations, invoices, purchase orders and other project documents.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, materials and work progress.
- Assist with basic project cost tracking and documentation for quantity surveying purposes.
- Coordinate delivery and installation schedules for timber doors and related products.
- Follow up on site requirements and installation arrangements where necessary.
- Ensure project documents are properly filed and updated.
- Assist with preparation of meeting minutes, progress reports and project status updates.
- Handle general administrative duties related to ongoing projects.
- Perform other project coordination and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management or a related field.
- Previous experience in project administration, construction, engineering or manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience in the building materials, timber, doors, interior fit-out or construction industry will be an advantage.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Responsible, proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.
