About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage large-scale Data Warehouse, Data Platform, and Data Migration projects within a banking environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and effectively, while managing risks, issues, dependencies, and multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of Data Warehouse, Data Platform, and Data Migration projects.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and critical paths.
• Coordinate multiple technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery impacts.
• Work with Technical Leads to understand issues and drive timely resolution.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address potential delays.
• Manage multiple releases and parallel workstreams.
• Prepare project status reports, documentation, and management updates.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and escalate critical issues when required.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination across project teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Proven experience in Data Warehouse, Data Platform, Data Migration, or large-scale technology projects.
• Good understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse architecture and migration concepts.
• Experience managing multiple technical teams and vendors.
• Strong risk, issue, dependency, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong planning, critical-path, communication, and reporting skills.
• Able to understand technical issues and effectively coordinate with Technical Leads.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-pressure banking environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred

Experience in banking technology transformation, enterprise data migration, Data Warehouse migration, or large-scale technology programmes will be an advantage.
