AI DATA & LARGE MODEL RESEARCH EXPERT | ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Our AI teams are advancing every layer of large model technology, from foundational data science and engineering, to model pre training and post training, to the evaluation and validation systems that keep our models reliable at scale.

Reporting into AI leadership, the AI Data & Large Model Research Expert leads breakthrough research and applied engineering across large model data synthesis, construction, and curriculum design, translating cutting edge research into scalable, production grade data pipelines that strengthen the organisation's technical edge.

Lead the team to achieve breakthrough research in AI data science and engineering, addressing challenges in data synthesis, system construction, and curriculum design to achieve industry leading results.

• Own large model pre-training/post-training data engineering end-to-end (construction, evaluation, validation)
• Build and grow a high-performing research team — talent development, mentorship, measurable impact
• Translate research into scalable, production-grade products with real business outcomes
• Collaborate with top-tier research partners, stay ahead of industry trends, contribute to core patents
• Partner cross-functionally with research, product, and engineering to align data strategy with the model roadmap

What You Will Bring

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• A proven track record of leading key technology research in large models and data engineering.
• Hands on experience in large model pre training and post training data engineering, including data construction, evaluation, and validation.
• Strong experience with industrial large model reinforcement learning systems.
• 3 to 5 years of experience managing research oriented teams, defining business objectives, coordinating resources, and optimizing talent development pipelines.
• A track record of research contributions implemented into products, services, or solutions that drove business success.
• Familiarity with multimodal data is a plus.
• Strong cross team collaboration skills and adaptability to enterprise project environments.

We are especially keen to hear from candidates with current or recent hands-on experience at a leading large-model research organisation or frontier AI lab (for example, teams building foundation models such as Llama, Gemini, Qwen, or comparable large-scale systems), though candidates with equivalent large-model pre-training/post-training experience elsewhere are also encouraged to apply.
