POSITION OVERVIEW

The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day site operations, ensuring all works are carried out according to drawings, method statements, and safety requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities and workers
• Ensure works are carried out according to drawings, specifications, and method statements
• Oversee slope-related works such as soil nailing, shotcrete, anchoring, slope cutting, and drainage
• Ensure proper workmanship and productivity on site

2. Coordination

• Coordinate with Site Engineer, Project Manager, subcontractors, and workers
• Arrange manpower, materials, and machinery for daily activities
• Ensure smooth workflow and avoid delays on site

3. Technical Awareness

• Understand basic construction and slope/geotechnical works
• Able to read and follow drawings and instructions from engineers
• Assist in identifying site issues and report to Site Engineer / Project Manager

4. Work Programme & Progress

• Follow and execute works according to work programme / schedule
• Monitor daily progress and update site team
• Ensure targets are achieved as planned

5. Quality Control

- Ensure works meet required quality standards and specifications

• Check materials and workmanship before proceeding to next stage
• Assist in site inspections

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all workers follow site safety requirements
• Monitor high-risk activities (working at height, slope works, drilling)
• Maintain clean and safe working environment

7. Coordination & Reporting

• Record daily site activities, manpower, and progress
• Report site issues, delays, or problems to Site Engineer / Project Manager
• Assist in site documentation when required

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma / Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field (or relevant experience)
• Minimum 1–5 years site experience, preferably in slope/geotechnical works
• Hands-on experience in site supervision and worker coordination
• Basic understanding of drawings and construction methods
• Strong discipline, responsibility, and leadership on site
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work on site and travel when required

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
