About the role

We need someone who uses AI every day to make AI work across our five companies: finding where it saves real time, building it, and getting our people to use it.

IS Ikhlas Suci is a Malaysian group of five companies working in facilities management, cleaning services (about 2,000 staff), chiller and energy-efficiency retrofits, and battery storage projects. We are already running AI agents that draft quotations, review contracts and research sales leads. We now need one person to own AI across the business and take it from pilots to daily habit.

You will report directly to the CTO, sit with operations, sales, finance and HR, and turn their slowest tasks into working tools. This is a hands-on build-and-rollout role, not a strategy-slides role.

What you'll do

Find the opportunities

• Map how each department works today and rank tasks by time saved, cost and risk.
• Keep a live AI roadmap and use-case register for the whole group.

Build and ship

• Build and maintain AI agents and automations: quotation and RFQ drafting, contract review, tender and lead research, reporting, HR and payroll admin, and site-worker communication.
• Connect AI to our existing tools: Google Workspace, Gmail, Drive, spreadsheets, Telegram/WhatsApp and our accounting and HR systems.
• Work with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini), agent frameworks and no-code tools such as n8n, Make or Zapier. Write code where needed, mainly Python or JavaScript.
• Pick the right tool for each job, and choose buy over build when it is cheaper.

Roll out and train

• Train staff at every level, from managers to supervisors on site, in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Write simple guides and prompt libraries, and support users until tools become habit.
• Track adoption and hours saved, and report results to leadership monthly.

Keep it safe

• Set AI usage rules: what data can go into which tool, human review before anything leaves the company, and access control.
• Keep us compliant with PDPA 2010 and client confidentiality terms.
• Own IT basics for AI tools: accounts, licences, API keys, vendor evaluation and spend.

First 90 days

By day 90 you will have three AI tools in daily use and a measured result for each.

Day 30:

Audit done: every department's top time-wasting tasks listed and ranked. AI usage policy drafted. Existing quotation, contract and sales agents reviewed.

Day 60:

Quotation and contract-review agents live with the sales team. First staff training sessions run.

Day 90:

Three tools in daily use, hours saved measured, and a 12-month AI roadmap presented to leadership.

What you bring

Must have

• AI native: you use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot daily for real work, and can show what you built with them.
• A degree in IT, computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs, agents or automation tools, with at least one working example. University, personal and side projects count.
• Solid IT basics: cloud and SaaS admin, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, APIs, data handling and security.
• Able to explain technical things simply to non-technical staff, in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• A builder's attitude: you ship small, measure, and improve.

Nice to have

• Python or JavaScript beyond scripting; RAG, vector databases or prompt evaluation.
• Experience in facilities management, construction, energy or other operations-heavy businesses.
• Knowledge of PDPA 2010 and data governance.
• Change management or training experience.
