Key Responsibilities
- Site Supervision & Coordination: Coordinate all day-to-day Mechanical & Electrical works at the construction site, ensuring smooth execution without disruption to structural or architectural progress.
- Quality & Progress Monitoring: Track site progress continuously and inspect installations to ensure all work complies with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and the overall project schedule.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the main technical contact on site; regularly liaise with client consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal site teams regarding M&E progress and technical queries.
- Meetings & Inspections: Represent the M&E team at site progress meetings, technical coordination sessions, and authority/consultant inspections.
- Technical Document Review: Review shop drawings, material submission approvals, method statements, and technical submittals prior to site implementation.
- Clash Management: Collaborate closely with architectural and structural teams to review spatial constraints and eliminate service clashes before installation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all installed systems adhere strictly to relevant local authority requirements, building codes, and workplace safety regulations.
- Testing & Commissioning (T&C): Coordinate, monitor, and document system testing, balancing, and commissioning phases through final handover.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive site progress reports, delay logs, and technical documentation for upper management.
