We are looking for a hands-on and people-oriented Senior HR Executive to support and manage the full spectrum of HR functions across our F&B operations. This role will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, performance management, training and development, HR policies, and workforce management across multiple outlets.
The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, is comfortable dealing with employees at all levels, and understands the fast-paced nature of the F&B industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Work closely with outlet managers and management to identify manpower requirements and hiring priorities.
- Develop and maintain effective recruitment channels to support continuous manpower needs.
- Coordinate pre-employment documentation and new employee onboarding.
2. Operations & Administration
- Manage daily HR operations, including attendance, leave, staff records, employee documentation, and HR administration.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure proper HR documentation.
- Support payroll-related matters and coordinate with relevant parties when required.
- Monitor manpower movements, transfers, confirmations, resignations, and other employee lifecycle activities.
3. Employee Relations
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace concerns, grievances, and HR-related matters.
- Handle employee disciplinary matters, workplace conflicts, and employee communications in a fair and professional manner.
- Work closely with outlet managers to address attendance, performance, conduct, and other employee-related issues.
- Assist management in maintaining a positive and professional workplace culture.
4. Performance Management
- Support the development and implementation of KPI and performance evaluation systems.
- Coordinate probation reviews, performance appraisals, confirmations, and promotion processes.
- Work with outlet managers to identify performance gaps and improvement areas.
- Support career progression and internal promotion initiatives.
5. Training & Development
- Identify training needs across outlets and coordinate relevant training programmes.
- Support the development of outlet managers, supervisors, and management trainees.
- Organise onboarding and orientation programmes for new employees.
- Maintain training records and monitor employee development progress.
6. HR Policies & SOP
- Develop, review, and improve HR policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Ensure HR practices are consistently implemented across all outlets.
- Provide HR guidance to managers and employees on company policies and procedures.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
7. F&B Workforce Management
- Monitor manpower requirements across multiple outlets and support effective workforce planning.
- Coordinate staff deployment, transfers, and manpower adjustments where required.
- Work closely with outlet managers to address staffing shortages and operational manpower needs.
- Experience managing a multi-outlet F&B workforce will be a strong advantage.
8. Labour Law & HR Compliance
- Ensure HR practices comply with applicable Malaysian employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain awareness of the Malaysia Employment Act and other relevant labour requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and processes are followed for employee disciplinary, termination, resignation, and other employment matters.
- Keep management informed of relevant changes in employment regulations that may affect company practices.
