About the Role

We are looking for a Buyer to support day-to-day purchasing and supply chain operations. You will be responsible for managing purchase orders, following up with suppliers, monitoring delivery timelines and coordinating with internal teams to ensure materials are available on time.

This role is suitable for candidates with experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, material planning, order management or related areas, especially those familiar with ERP/SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and fulfil purchase order (PO) requests
• Create, amend and follow up on purchase orders
• Communicate with vendors/suppliers regarding order status and delivery timelines
• Follow up and update ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival)
• Create new parts and maintain part/SKU information
• Handle price changes and PO updates
• Coordinate direct/drop-ship orders
• Follow up on material transfers and related requirements
• Investigate warehouse discrepancies and coordinate resolution
• Prepare fulfilment and operational reports
• Coordinate logistics and fulfilment activities throughout the PO lifecycle
• Work closely with Supply Chain Program Managers to understand material requirements and need-by dates
• Resolve purchasing, delivery and material-related issues promptly
• Escalate critical issues to management when required
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supply chain records in the ERP system

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, material management, order management or related functions
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong coordination, follow-up and organisational skills
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
• Customer-focused with good interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and handle pressure
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business requirements
• Proactive, self-motivated and willing to take ownership of tasks

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
