Responsibilities
About the role
As a Logistics Officer at ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of the company's warehousing, storage and distribution operations. This is a full-time role based in the Bishan Central Region, where you will play a crucial part in supporting the manufacturing, transport and logistics functions of the business.
What you'll be doing
Coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of various materials, parts, and equipment
Maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring stock levels to ensure timely replenishment
Organising the efficient loading and unloading of delivery vehicles to optimise transportation
Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure the smooth flow of goods
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing cost-saving measures
Preparing and analysing reports on logistics performance and KPIs
Ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
At least 2 years of experience in a logistics or warehousing role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficient in using warehouse management systems and inventory control software
Knowledge of relevant logistics and transportation regulations and best practices
Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Class 3 Driving License
