Looking for a role that combines technical drawing with project coordination?
We are looking for a Project Coordinator (AutoCAD) to support construction and renovation projects for our Hong Kong-based client.
The primary responsibility of this role is to prepare, update, and coordinate AutoCAD drawings for construction submissions, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
You will also support project coordination by working closely with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project documentation and submissions are completed accurately and on time.
This position is ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of experience in construction, renovation, fit-out, or A&A projects who enjoy both technical drawing and project coordination.

What You’ll Be Doing
Your main responsibility will be AutoCAD drawing and technical documentation, which will make up approximately 60–70% of the role.
You will:
- Prepare, modify, and update 2D AutoCAD drawings for construction, renovation, and A&A projects.
- Produce and revise:
- -Shop drawings
- -Submission drawings
- -As-built drawings
- -Layout drawings
- -Detail drawings
- -Coordinate drawing revisions based on client, consultant, and site requirements.
- -Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and submission standards.
- -Maintain proper version control and filing of all technical drawings.
You will also support project coordination, which will make up approximately 30–40% of the role.
This includes:
- Coordinating material submissions, shop drawings, and technical documentation with contractors and subcontractors.
- Assisting the Project Manager in tracking project schedules, submissions, testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
- Following up on drawing approvals and project progress.
- Liaising with consultants, suppliers, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Maintaining organized project records and documentation.
- Supporting other project administration duties assigned by the Project Manager.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with 1–3 years of experience in construction, renovation, interior fit-out, or A&A projects who is comfortable handling both technical drawings and project coordination.
You should have:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in construction, renovation, interior fit-out, or A&A projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to independently prepare and revise:
- Shop drawings
- Construction drawings
- Submission drawings
- As-built drawings
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- Familiarity with construction documentation, material submissions, and project coordination processes.
- Good understanding of renovation, fit-out, or A&A project workflow.
Language Requirements
- Mandarin or Cantonese – Required to communicate with the Hong Kong project team.
- English – Working proficiency.
Preferred Skills
The following would be an advantage:
- Experience working with contractors, consultants, or main contractors.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and project documentation.
- Familiarity with SketchUp or other drafting software.
