Responsibilities

Imperial Dental Specialist Centre is looking for a Treatment Coordinator to join our patient care team. This is a patient-facing role suited to someone who is personable, organised, confident in communication and able to guide patients through their treatment journey in a professional and reassuring manner.

As a Treatment Coordinator, you will act as an important link between patients, dentists and the clinical team. You will help patients understand their treatment plans, coordinate appointments and follow-ups, and ensure that the overall treatment journey is clear, organised and well managed from consultation through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients in understanding their proposed treatment plans, treatment sequence and administrative arrangements.
  • Coordinate appointments, treatment scheduling, follow-ups and case progression.
  • Communicate treatment fees, payment arrangements and relevant administrative information clearly and professionally.
  • Follow up with patients after consultations regarding treatment decisions and next steps.
  • Maintain regular communication with patients throughout their treatment journey.
  • Coordinate closely with dentists, Dental Surgery Assistants, customer service staff and other departments to ensure continuity of care.
  • Monitor ongoing treatment cases and ensure important follow-ups, appointments and pending matters are not overlooked.
  • Assist local and international patients with treatment-related coordination and enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate patient, treatment and follow-up records.
  • Handle patient concerns or uncertainties calmly and escalate clinical matters to the appropriate dentist when required.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Centre’s dental services so that patients can be assisted confidently and accurately.
  • Support general patient service and administrative duties when required.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is dynamic, flexible, proactive, organised and keen to learn. The right candidate should be comfortable communicating with patients, coordinating multiple cases and working closely with both clinical and administrative teams.

Strong spoken and written English proficiency is important, as we serve patients from diverse backgrounds. Candidates who can communicate confidently in two or more languages are particularly encouraged to apply. Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage.

Previous experience in dental, healthcare, customer service, hospitality, sales, patient coordination or a similar client-facing environment would be advantageous. We are also open to fresh graduates and early-career candidates with strong communication skills, confidence and a willingness to learn.

We particularly value candidates who demonstrate:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional presentation and confidence when speaking with patients
  • Good organisation and follow-up discipline
  • Attention to detail
  • Emotional maturity and patience
  • Ability to manage several cases and priorities at the same time
  • Teamwork and initiative
  • A strong sense of responsibility and ownership
