Job Responsibilities

• Perform regular in-process inspections of sheet metal components during various stages of production, including cutting, forming, welding, and assembly.
• Use precision measuring tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify that dimensions and tolerances meet design specifications.
• Document and report inspection results, highlighting any deviations from quality standards.
• Develop and implement in-process quality control plans, including control charts, sampling methods, and inspection criteria.
• Ensure that all quality procedures are followed during the manufacturing process and that products meet the required specifications.
• Identify and analyze root causes of quality issues and work with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with process engineers and production teams to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes, focusing on quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma projects, to enhance overall product quality.
• Provide feedback to design and engineering teams on manufacturability and quality concerns related to new or existing products.
• Maintain detailed records of inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions taken.
• Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting key quality metrics and trends.
• Ensure that all quality documentation is up-to-date and complies with industry standards and company policies.
• Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.
• Assist in preparing for and responding to customer audits and inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Material Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Quality Engineering) or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality/ Manufacturing Quality/ Process Quality.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customers, projects, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
