Responsibilities
PACKAGE ENGINEER
- Strong understanding of FPSO EPC/EPCIC execution, including procurement, vendor management, engineering interface, fabrication, integration, commissioning, and handover requirements.
- Proven capability in managing high-value and/or long-lead vendor packages for offshore oil and gas projects.
- Good understanding of package delivery requirements for major FPSO systems such as electrical houses, gas treatment, compression, water treatment, utility systems, mechanical equipment, and other topsides packages.
- Knowledge of contract administration, commercial management, change control, expediting, inspection, logistics coordination, and vendor documentation control.
- Ability to manage package risks, schedule interfaces, cost exposure, quality issues, and stakeholder expectations in a multi-contractor project environment.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, subcontracting, or supply chain management within the oil and gas or offshore industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in EPC/EPCIC project execution, preferably involving FPSO or similar offshore facilities.
- Proven experience in managing procurement, subcontracting, and logistics functions in large-scale, multi-disciplined projects or module packages.
- Experience in multi-location and multi-contractor execution environments (e.g., international yards, joint ventures, consortium projects).
- Experience in FPSO or major offshore projects involving multi-yard fabrication and integration (e.g., China and Brazil) is highly preferred.
- Relevant recognized qualifications – Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process, Civil, Marine, or equivalent).
- Professional certification in procurement, supply chain, contracts, project management, or engineering management would be an added advantage.
