Job Description

We are looking for a Fiber Project Coordinator to coordinate and monitor fiber optic and network infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, site technicians, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed according to schedule, specifications, and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily activities for fiber optic and network infrastructure projects.
• Monitor site progress and provide regular updates on project status, completed works, and outstanding tasks.
• Coordinate with site teams, technicians, subcontractors, and clients on project requirements and activities.
• Conduct site visits, site surveys, measurements, and inspections when required.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, procedures, and project requirements.
• Coordinate and follow up on fiber optic installation, splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and network deployment activities.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, site records, work programmes, method statements, technical submissions, and completion records.
• Attend project meetings, site coordination meetings, and client briefings as required.
• Follow up on job assignments and ensure site activities are completed within the required timeline.
• Assist in identifying site issues and coordinate with the relevant technical teams to resolve project-related matters.
• Monitor project materials, equipment, and site requirements.
• Support project handover and completion documentation.
• Perform other project coordination duties assigned by the Project Manager or management.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in fiber optic, telecommunications, network infrastructure, or construction projects is preferred.
• Good understanding of fiber optic installation, splicing, testing, troubleshooting, and network deployment.
• Familiar with project coordination, site monitoring, progress reporting, and project documentation.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with technical teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Willing to travel to project sites and attend site meetings when required.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work according to project timelines.
• Responsible, disciplined, and possesses a good working attitude.
