Com-Aire Engineering Sdn Bhd. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a full-time basis in Taman Puncak Jalil, Seri Kembangan. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in the estimating and cost management function of our construction operations. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost assessments, managing project budgets, and ensuring financial viability across our mechanical and electrical construction projects. This position is integral to our project delivery strategy and directly influences the profitability and success of our contracts.

• Preparing detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for M&E systems (air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
• Conducting thorough analysis of project specifications, drawings, and bills of quantities to determine accurate material and labour costs
• Liaising with project managers, engineers and procurement teams to gather necessary information for cost estimation
• Maintaining and updating cost databases and historical project data to inform future estimates
• Preparing tender documents (BOQ) and supporting contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors
• Monitoring project costs and providing regular financial reports to track variances against budget
• Identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and value engineering without compromising project quality
• Managing variations and change orders, and assessing their financial impact on projects.
• Proficiency in Excel, Auto CAD.

Qualification Requirements :

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering will be preferred.
• 2 years of M&E construction project tendering/ costing experience.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
