Waiters/Waitresses
to join our front-of-house team and provide excellent service to our guests.
Job Summary
The Waiter/Waitress will be responsible for welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish, while maintaining cleanliness and following restaurant service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and seat guests in a warm, courteous manner
Present menus and provide recommendations, including explaining Teochew dishes to guests
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar
Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and attend to additional requests
Handle bill settlement and process payments accurately
Clear and reset tables promptly between guests
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area
Assist with basic table setup and closing duties
Communicate special requests (e.g., dietary restrictions, allergies) to kitchen staff
Handle guest feedback or complaints politely and escalate to supervisor when needed
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth restaurant operations, especially during peak hours
Requirements
Prior experience as a waiter/waitress or in F&B service is an advantage
Friendly, outgoing personality with good communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
Physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods, and carry trays
Team player with a positive attitude
Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Basic English and Mandarin/Teochew dialect preferred (for communicating with guests and staff)
