About NHF Medicare

NHF Medicare is a private healthcare and wellness centre focused on preventive, regenerative and integrative healthcare.

We are looking for a Medical Officer to join our in-house clinical team, providing medical assessment, screening, interpretation of laboratory results and continuity of care for our patients.

This is a focused clinical role within a wellness setting. The doctor will work alongside our nursing team and provide appropriate medical guidance while helping patients understand their health and available treatment options.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and basic physical examinations.
• Review and explain laboratory and health screening results.
• Assess patients' general health and identify relevant risk factors.
• Provide appropriate medical and lifestyle advice.
• Review patients' existing medications and medical history where relevant.
• Provide appropriate prescriptions when clinically indicated.
• Advise patients on suitable NHF services based on their clinical needs.
• Assess patient suitability for NHF treatments and services.
• Provide continuity of care and follow-up for NHF patients.
• Work alongside the nursing team during patient care and treatments.
• Recognise situations requiring further investigation or specialist management.
• Refer patients back to their primary care physician or appropriate specialist when necessary.
• Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Work within NHF's established clinical protocols and scope of practice.

What We're Looking For

• Malaysian Medical Doctor with a recognised medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
• Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Appropriate professional indemnity coverage.
• Good clinical judgement and patient communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a private healthcare environment.
• Patient-centred, responsible and professional.
• Open to working within a preventive, wellness, regenerative and integrative healthcare environment.
• Willing to follow NHF clinical protocols and referral pathways.

Ideal Candidate

We are particularly interested in doctors who have completed housemanship and are transitioning into Medical Officer practice, as well as doctors looking for a flexible private-practice environment.

Previous GP or private-practice experience is welcome but not essential.

The role is suited to a doctor who enjoys patient interaction, health screening and clinical decision-making without the high-intensity environment of a conventional acute-care setting.

Working Arrangement

Location: Subang Jaya, Selangor
Schedule: Flexible / Part-Time

Current clinic operating schedule:

• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Minimum 3 days per week is preferred, with flexibility to discuss the arrangement depending on availability and patient volume.

There is no overnight or on-call requirement for this role.
