JDA WMS Hiring! Full Time Quantity Surveyor (Electrical- 1 year contract) in - Ricebowl

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) to join our team on a 1-year contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing post-contract Variation Orders (VOs) for M&E projects, ensuring accurate cost substantiation and effective negotiation with clients and main contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage post-contract quantity surveying functions for M&E (Electrical) projects
• Prepare, substantiate, and negotiate Variation Orders (VOs) with clients and main contractors
• Review and assess project variations, ensuring accurate cost implications are captured
• Liaise closely with project, engineering, and site teams to gather relevant documentation supporting VO claims
• Track and manage VO submissions, approvals, and outstanding claims
• Ensure timely and accurate cost reporting related to variations
• Support contract administration duties as required

Requirements

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or equivalent
• Strong experience in post-contract VO management for M&E projects
• Hands-on experience in preparing, substantiating, and negotiating VOs with clients/main contractors
• Good understanding of electrical/M&E scope of works
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Meticulous, analytical, and able to work independently
