About the role

A Logistics Executive manages logistics operations and coordinates transportation activities, monitoring the movement of goods to ensure timely delivery. The role involves negotiating and establishing contracts with suppliers, carriers and customers, managing warehouse inventory levels, and developing strategies for efficient distribution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the logistics operations and coordinate transportation activities

• Monitor the movement of goods and ensure they are delivered on time

• Negotiate and establish contracts with suppliers, carriers and customers

• Monitor and manage inventory levels in the warehouse

• Develop and implement strategies for the efficient distribution of goods

• Monitor and optimize the supply chain process

• Analyze and report on logistics performance metrics

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

• Oversee the loading and unloading of goods

• Liaise with internal departments and external parties to resolve issues

About you

• Minimum SPM or above

• Knowledge in inventory management and computer literate in Microsoft Office, Windows, Internet Explorer and Outlook Express

• Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia

• Able to converse in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients

• Custom clearance, custom form, K1 K2 K3 experience

• USA export & import experience

• Willing to work in Pasir Gudang, Johor
