JobSummary

This full-timeContracts Manager role at Cornerstone Builders Pte Ltd in Singapore will beresponsible for overseeing and managing all contractual obligations, disputes,and negotiations for the company's construction projects. As an integral memberof the team, you will play a strategic role in ensuring the successful deliveryof complex construction contracts.

Responsibilities

·                    Lead and develop the QuantitySurveyor (QS) team by establishing clear objectives and motivating members toachieve team goals

·                    Manage project profit and loss byoverseeing contract and cost management systems to ensure financial targets aremet

·                    Establish, implement, and monitorrobust systems for QS, contract administration, and cost control to enhanceoperational efficiency

·                    Review and analyze project costing,including inter-project and inter-company cost and charging concerns, tooptimize resource allocation

·                    Resolve contractual and cost-relatedissues by collaborating with QS, project teams, clients, and subcontractors toachieve timely settlements

·                    Take ownership of project cost andcontractual settlements, ensuring compliance with contract terms and mitigatingrisks

·                    Negotiate, draft, and administer adiverse range of construction contracts to safeguard company interests andsupport project delivery

·                    Apply expert knowledge ofconstruction law, contract management principles, and risk mitigationstrategies to manage contractual obligations effectively

·                    Communicate effectively withcross-functional teams and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration andinformed decision-making

Requiredcompetencies and certifications

·                    Proven track record of successfullynegotiating, drafting, and administering a diverse range of constructioncontracts

·                    Excellent knowledge of constructionlaw, contract management principles, and risk mitigation strategies

Preferredcompetencies and qualifications

·                    Minimum 7 years' relevantexperience

·                    Degree in Quantity Surveying,Construction Management, or equivalent

·                    Strong commercial acumen andproblem-solving skills to identify and resolve contractual issues

·                    Effective communication andstakeholder management abilities to liaise with cross-functional teams
