Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accountancy, Finance or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an advertising or creative industry.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience and proficiency in accounting software (Info-Tech Accounting is a strong advantage)
• Experience in handling SST, WHT, e-invoicing.
• Experience in group accounting or parent-subsidiary organisational environments (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ready to start immediately (preferred).

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting & Finance Executive to handle and manage our company’s financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and support financial planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations: Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory and general ledger maintenance; ensure timely payments and accurate financial records.
• Financial Management: Prepare and manage full sets of accounts, including periodic financial reports, budgeting and forecasting.
• Taxation & Compliance: Maintain well-organised accounting records and filing systems for tax compliance and audits; reviewing and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, statutes, and company policies.
• Financial Analysis: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely our Operations, HR and Client Servicing teams to understand transaction schedules and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• External Liaison: Liaise with external parties such as bankers, auditors, tax agents and company secretaries.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as required by management.
