System Analyst

Job Responsibilities

• New applications
  • Strategic planning in selection of applications
  • User specification write-up in accordance to user’s and organization’s requirement
  • Work with users and vendors to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Applications support
  • Work in a team to manage and assist in IT project management and implementation
  • Liaise with vendors in project implementation, application testing, support and upgrades
  • Perform coding, scripting, and testing for enhancements and bug fixes
  • Enhance and support internal application systems and data flows
• Governance
  • Support data governance and PDPA compliance
  • Prepare technical documentation and user guides
  • Assist in software audits and policy reviews
• Application and System Support
  • Support application-related hardware, devices and peripherals
  • Liaise with vendors on hardware and systems integrated with business applications
  • Perform basic system and user administration
  • Support application-related licenses and contracts
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Diploma in Computer Science or relevant IT certification
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in IT Project Management and system/application support
• Proficient and experience in using proper PM tools and methodology
• Coding ability (e.g. Java, .NET, Python, SQL, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Git, and Docker preferred
• Familiar with system integration, testing, and deployment
• Possess strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skill
• Mandarin proficiency (able to read and communicate) to support our TCM system preferred
• Experience in Oracle Cloud
• Experience in SQL
• Willingness to and passion for learning new technologies and practices
• Able to manage multiple tasks, projects and prioritise
• Able to identify interdependencies when analysing problems and developing creative solutions
• Able to work independently, self-motivated and a great team player
• Added advantage to candidate with prior experience working in healthcare institutions
