Job Title: Assembly TechnicianJob SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will position, align, and fasten units or sub-assemblies to build completed products. You will follow technical schematics, use hand and power tools, and perform quality checks to ensure all items meet strict company and safety standards.Key Responsibilities
- Assemble Components: Build sub-assemblies and final products using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Read Schematics: Interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, technical diagrams, and engineering work instructions.
- Inspect Parts: Check incoming materials and finished assemblies for defects, alignment issues, or missing parts.
- Troubleshoot: Identify, isolate, and report assembly errors or mechanical malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Quality Assurance: Verify that finished products meet operational, dimensional, and aesthetic specifications.
- Maintain Workspace: Keep tools organized and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S standards).
- Record Keeping: Complete production logs, inventory checklists, and quality control documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or production environments.
- Tool Competency: Proficiency with basic hand and power tools (screwdrivers, drills, torque wrenches, riveting tools).
- Technical Literacy: Ability to accurately read and follow complex work instructions and diagrams.
- Physical Capabilities: Good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift moderately heavy parts.
- Detail-Oriented: Precision-focused mindset to catch minor component misalignments.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanics or electronics is a plus.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
