ERS Energy Hiring! Full Time Geospatial - Survey Manager – Utility-Scale Solar PV Projects (HQ Based) in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

We are looking for a Geospatial / Survey Manager to own the survey function across our solar projects - the people, the equipment, the methods and the data quality. You will not be doing all the survey work yourself. Your surveyors are on site doing the ground control, setting out and drone flying. Your job is to make sure they are set up to do it properly, that what comes back is trustworthy, and that the project team gets what they need on time. You are also the person who says what is realistic before it becomes a commitment.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the survey team, and plan survey work across several project sites.
• Own the survey equipment — LiDAR, total stations, RTK-GPS and drones.
• Run topographic surveys at tender stage and oversee point cloud processing into terrain models and contour maps.
• Set the quality checks for all survey data, and decide which data is used when two sets do not agree.
• Appoint and manage external survey firms, including licensed land surveyors for boundary work.
• Tell the project team what accuracy and timeline is actually achievable.

Expected Candidate Profile

• Degree in Geomatics, Land Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years in land surveying, including leading a team.
• Hands-on with RTK and PPK positioning, total stations, and drone survey for LiDAR and photogrammetry.
• ArcGIS or QGIS, coordinate reference systems, and point cloud processing tools such as DJI Terra, Civil 3D,
• Pix4D or LiDAR360.
• Able to explain survey findings clearly to people who are not surveyors.
