Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Researcher is a full-time, on-site role based in Shanghai, PRC. The researcher will design, implement, and evaluate brain-inspired AI models, focusing on improving autonomy, memory, and efficiency in intelligent agents. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting original research, developing prototypes, running experiments, and analyzing data to validate new architectures and learning algorithms. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into production-ready systems, contribute to technical publications, and stay current with the latest developments in AI, computational neuroscience, and machine learning. The researcher will also help optimize models for real-world deployment, ensuring scalability, robustness, and privacy-preserving capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering practices.
• Expertise in Pattern Recognition and machine learning methods for modeling complex data and intelligent behavior.
• Proficiency in Data Science and Statistics for experimental design, data analysis, and model evaluation.
• Demonstrated Research skills, including problem formulation, literature review, experimental methodology, and technical reporting.
• Experience with Python or similar programming languages, and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Neuroscience, Physics, or a closely related field is strongly preferred.
• Background in large-scale model training, optimization, or deployment on cloud or distributed systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment, communicate complex ideas clearly, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
