Achieve Group Hiring! Full Time Operator, LNG in - Ricebowl

We are supporting an established energy trading company in its search for an LNG Operator. This is a hands-on position overseeing physical LNG cargo execution and coordinating closely with commercial teams and external counterparties.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee LNG cargoes from scheduling through loading and discharge, including lifting plans and vessel movements
• Manage operational notices, nominations and ETA updates in line with SPA, MSA and charter-party obligations
• Liaise with charterers, suppliers, buyers, inspectors, expeditors and port agents to ensure smooth cargo execution
• Review, calculate and negotiate laytime, demurrage, boil-off and gas-consumption claims
• Coordinate monthly loading and discharge programmes and participate in reviewing term and spot contract provisions
• Maintain accurate deal, pricing and operational information within the trade-support system

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years of experience
• Good understanding of LNG contracts, shipping operations and cargo claims
• Strong numerical, spreadsheet, communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced trading environment
