Job Description

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct regular safety and ESH inspections throughout the client's corporate building.
  • Identify hazards, unsafe conditions and ESH issues, and ensure corrective actions are followed up.
  • Monitor the safety practices of SSRV employees, technicians, contractors and vendors working on site.
  • Coordinate with the Facility Manager and relevant teams on building, maintenance and safety-related issues.
  • Attend to client and building occupant concerns related to safety, health, environment and facility conditions.
  • Assist in incident reporting, investigation and emergency response activities, including fire and evacuation drills.
  • Maintain ESH records, inspection checklists, permits and other required documentation.
  • Prepare periodic ESH reports and provide updates on outstanding issues and corrective actions.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with client requirements, SSRV procedures and applicable safety regulations.
  • Promote safety awareness and good housekeeping practices among site personnel.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in ESH, Safety, Facility Management or a related field.
  • Candidates with at least 6 months of experience as a Safety Supervisor will have an added advantage.
  • Experience in a commercial building, corporate office, facility management or property environment will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of workplace safety practices, risk assessment, site inspection and incident reporting.
  • Familiarity with Malaysian occupational safety and health requirements.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal professionally with clients, contractors and site personnel.
  • Strong coordination, problem-solving and follow-up skills.
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of site issues.
  • Good report writing and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Willing to be stationed at and conduct regular inspections within the client's corporate building.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
