Job Responsibilities:

A. Operational

1. Coordinates and supervises the overall activities of Radiology Services.

2. Ensure all radiological examinations are carried out to an excellent standard and following correct procedure and that our Radiology.

3. Oversee workflow, staff roster, scheduling of cases and ets.

4. Manages of staff working schedules, leave and OT for smooth and efficient work processes.

5. Provides training for radiographer on new protocols and procedures, and evaluations of skill.

6. Ensures the safe and efficient use of radiology equipment, taking action to resolve faults/issues.

7. Handle customer feedback.

8. Provides orientation of new employees about the department/hospital.

9. To develop and/or deliver training programs to new employees on equipment and procedures in the area of operations in alignment with the department’s training objectives and plans.

10. Plan training courses and conference requests from Radiographers.

11. Provide advanced education and teaching and lead departmental audit in the Imaging Department.

B. Education and Training

1. Plan and conduct orientation program for newly appointed Radiology staff.

2. Participate in continuing education programme.

C. Maintenance

1. Liaise with other departments e.g. Facility and Housekeeping Department for the general maintenance of the radiology department.

2. Liaise with Biomedical Department to ensure that all equipment is always in good functioning order. 3. Ensure assigned daily and monthly checks on equipment are being carried out.

D. Administrative

1. Participate and contribute ideas at departmental meetings and other committees towards improvement of the delivery of patient’s care.

2. Serve as member/secretariat in the Radiation Safety Committee of hospital to promote knowledge and experience exchange and to facilitate the implementation of radiology department initiatives and programmes within the hospital.

3. Participate in tracking of Quality Indicators to measure care and services rendered to customers and for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

· Degree / Diploma in Radiography / Medical Imaging.

· With at least five (5) years of continuous experience managing Radiography / Medical Imaging Department.

Pay: From RM6,000.00 per month
