Senior Executive - Business Development (MUN Global Chemist)
Job Purpose
Combines technical chemistry expertise with business-development responsibilities to support global customer engagement, formulation customisation and new-market product opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical/chemistry expertise to support customer-specific formulation requests and product customisation.
Support business-development efforts by translating customer technical requirements into R&D project scope.
Liaise with global customers and distributors on technical queries, product specifications and compliance documents.
Coordinate with the R&D/Innovation team on trials required to meet new business or customer requirements.
Support market research on emerging glove-material trends and competitor product benchmarking.
Prepare technical presentations and proposals to support business-development/sales engagements.
Ensure technical/business-development activities align with regulatory and quality requirements across target markets.
Requirements & Qualifications
Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering or related field.
3–5 years of experience combining technical/R&D work with customer-facing or business-development exposure.
Strong technical grounding in polymer/latex chemistry with commercial awareness.
Good presentation and cross-cultural communication skills for global customer engagement.
Willingness to travel for customer/market engagement as required.
