Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a high-caliber Client Onboarding Manager to oversee our end-to-end client account opening, KYC/CDD, and lifecycle management workflows across all five regulated activities (SFC Type 1, 2, 4, 5 & 9), especially Type 2 regulated activity

Key responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive Customer Due Diligence (KYC) checks for new client onboarding, regular periodic reviews, and trigger events for both individual and institutional clients

  • Review and verify customer account documentation in strict compliance with local regulations and internal policies

  • Handle time-sensitive daily procedures, account opening checks, and futures reconciliation before trading hours

  • Conduct routine Anti-Money Laundering (AML) scanning and generate comprehensive ongoing AML reports

  • Review and update company margin ratios in accordance with risk management policies quarterly

  • Deliver annual compliance tasks, including Professional Investor (P.I.) renewals, Standing Authority, tax compliance (CRS & FATCA), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and AML Risk Rating reviews

  • Identify gaps in the current onboarding workflow and implement digital or automated solutions to reduce turnaround times

  • Partner with main operation units on upcoming system migration projects and other related assignments as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3–5years of experience in client onboarding or client operations (KYC/CDD) within the financial services sector, with a heavy emphasis on futures operations

  • Sound knowledge of SFC regulations, HKIDR requirements, AML/KYC guidelines, and CRS requirements

  • Exceptional attention to detail, good time-management skills to handle time-sensitive duties, and a good analytical mind

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external parties

  • Experience in using Ayers and SPClearing system is an advantage

  • Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin, English and Cantonese

  • Immediate available/with short notice period is highly preferred

** Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager/Senior Officer
