IP Services Engineer

Contract: 6 Months (Extendable)

Location: Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur

Work Mode: Hybrid – 1–2 days/week onsite

Rate: MYR 10,500/month

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced IP Services Engineer with strong expertise in F5, Infoblox, NGINX, DDI, scripting, and open-source technologies. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in managing and migrating IP services platforms, with strong programming/scripting capabilities and a working understanding of Routing & Switching.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise IP Services infrastructure.
• Manage and support F5 environments, including load balancing, traffic management, and platform migration activities.
• Lead/support F5 migration from physical appliances to virtual/VM-based platforms.
• Configure and manage NGINX for web, application delivery, reverse proxy, and load-balancing requirements.
• Develop and maintain scripts, automation, and code using appropriate programming/scripting languages.
• Work with open-source technologies to automate and improve IP service operations.
• Manage Infoblox platforms and enterprise DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) services.
• Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, IP address management, and related network service issues.
• Support integration between F5, NGINX, Infoblox, and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Work with Network, Security, Application, and Infrastructure teams for end-to-end troubleshooting.
• Participate in migrations, upgrades, automation initiatives, and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Perform incident management, root-cause analysis, and technical documentation.

Technical Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IP Services / Network Infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on expertise in F5 technologies, including migration to VM/virtual platforms.
• Strong expertise in NGINX, including programming, scripting, configuration, and coding.
• Strong experience with Infoblox and DDI services – DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using technologies such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with open-source technologies and automation frameworks.
• Fair/working knowledge of Routing & Switching.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with F5 BIG-IP and virtual editions.
• Experience with NGINX Plus / NGINX Open Source.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with CI/CD or DevOps practices is an advantage.
• Knowledge of DNS architecture, DHCP, IPAM, and DDI integration.
• Relevant F5, Infoblox, NGINX, or networking certifications are desirable.

Ideal Candidate

A senior IP Services Engineer with 10+ years of experience who is highly proficient in F5, NGINX, and Infoblox/DDI, with strong scripting and coding capabilities. The candidate should be comfortable supporting F5-to-VM migrations, developing automation using scripts and open-source technologies, and collaborating with network teams with a working understanding of Routing & Switching.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
