Job Requirements

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in purchasing/procurement.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in purchasing may also be considered.
• Experience in manufacturing purchasing, MRO or general purchasing is preferred.
• Experience dealing with suppliers, quotations and purchase documents.
• Good English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of EMAS or ERP system is an advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Own transport and willing to travel to suppliers.

Job Responsibilities

• Source items and services needed by the company.
• Get 3 quotations from suppliers where possible.
• Check PR approvals before purchasing.
• Prepare and send Purchase Orders (PO) to suppliers.
• Follow up with suppliers on delivery, price, quality and payment.
• Make sure goods are delivered on time.
• Manage supplier information and Approved Vendor List (AVL).
• Monitor stock for MRO and other consumable items.
• Look for ways to reduce purchasing costs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly purchasing reports.
• Check spending and compare supplier prices.
• Support plant maintenance and facility needs.
• Coordinate photocopier servicing and supplies.
• Support internal and ISO audits.
• Monitor supplier performance.
• Manage contract renewals and service agreements.
• Assist with long-term supplier agreements.
• Make sure purchasing follows company rules and procedures.
• Support project planning and new product activities.
• Perform other duties given by the HOD.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
