Responsibilities
Technical Proficiencies:
Strong understanding of electronic theory, circuit operations, and proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic devices.
Soft Skills:
Problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, clear communication, and strict adherence to workplace safety regulations.
JOB SCOPE:
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
Inspect faulty devices, run general diagnostics, and use test equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and ammeters to locate electrical malfunctions. [1, 2]
Repair and Rework:
Replace defective components, solder circuit boards, and restore equipment functionality to standard operating requirements.
Preventative Maintenance:
Carry out routine servicing, calibration of sensors and probes, and scheduled inspections to prevent unexpected system downtime.
Installation and Setup:
Configure and test new electronic systems, machinery, or security applications under actual operating conditions.
Reading Documentation:
Interpret complex product service manuals, engineering change notices, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, parts utilized, and repair statuses for supervisors or clients.
