ContiOcean Group Hiring! Full Time Service Engineer (Electrical) in - Ricebowl

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

In this role, you will play a vital part in performing a wide range of tasks, including repairs, maintenance, construction supervision, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. Your expertise will be put to work on various ship systems, including Exhaust Gas Cleaning System (Scrubber), Fuel systems operating on LNG, Methanol, Ammonia, Hydrogen, and other E-fuels, as well as other cutting-edge clean energy ship systems and machinery.

As a service engineer at ContiOcean, you'll need to be ready to embark on a journey across the globe. You'll be responsible for providing swift assistance, whether it's in shipyards or ports worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Develop commissioning plans and oversee machinery start-up on ships.
• Supervise shipyard commissioning to ensure the smooth operation of complex marine systems.
• Able to read different ship drawings.
• Participate in sea trials.
• Manage the customer support structure.
• Perform remote fault-finding, repairs and coordinate extensive maintenance of Marine Equipment, including Exhaust Scrubbers, Gas Handling Systems, Fuel systems, Nitrogen Generator plants, and other Marine systems.
• Identify necessary spare parts and oversee their delivery to shipyards worldwide.
• Serve as the liaison between shipyards, ship owners, and our team on-site.
• Secure performance acceptance letters from customers following successful deliveries and repairs.
• Arrange travel plans and schedules for maintenance and repair activities.
• Create site status reports and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of operating and maintenance manuals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Automation Engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical ship systems, field instrumentation, marine automation, pumps & compressors, ship main and auxiliary engines.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Singaporean citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
